  • Product Detials:Phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP or "angel dust" is a dissociative drug formerly used as an anesthetic agent, exhibiting hallucinogenic and neurotoxic effects. PCP is usually taken orally, by inhalation, insufflation or intravenously. PCP undergoes exidation and conjugation in the body. Unchanged PCP is excreted in the urine in moderate amounts (10% of the dose). The terminal half-life for PCP varies considerably with a range of 8-55 hours. Statistically, the average half-life is 18 hours. For an initial immunoassay result, a cut-off value of 25ng/ml total Phencyclidine metabolites is required by the mandatory reference guidelines from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
    One Step Phencyclidine Urine Test is a rapid urine screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes a monoclonal antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of Phencyclidine in urine. Test yields a positive result when Phencyclidine levels in urine reaches 25ng/ml.
