Neutral Needle Free Connector
1.Gen 2 provide patent valves which are opened by a needle-
less syringe insertion and which close securely upon removal
of the inserted syringe.
2.This connector is “flushable” to remove potential chemical
interaction (cross-contamination) between successively
injected drugs.
3.This needle free connector is free of retrograde (reflux)
flow upon syringe removal from the connector to assure a
sufficient volume of blood is not drawn into an attached
catheter as such often results in clotting and /or catheter
occlusion.
( It is well known in the medical catheter art that backflow
into a catheter imbedded in a patient vessel can become a
serious deterrent to effective treatment and can become a
serious problem when clotting or occlusion results.)
