injected into bottles with culture media to determine
whether microorganisms have invaded the patient's
bloodstream.
Blood culture bottle is required to perform the blood
culture test, and in general blood cultures are ordered as
a set, which consists of 2 bottles (1 aerobic bottle & 1
anaerobic bottle), and several sets of blood culture are
ordered to get the test results.
Beijing Botai Technology Development Center was
established in 2003, we are the first Chinese blood
culture bottle manufacturer, and we released our blood
culture bottle products in 2003, and got the registration
certificate for our blood culture bottle on December 7th
2003. At present over 100 hospitals in China are adopting
our blood culture bottles in the blood culture test, many

BacT/Alert blood culture system, our blood culture bottles
have the similar performance with BioMerieux's blood
culture bottles, and our blood culture bottles can replace
BioMerieux’s blood culture bottles perfectly.
Our Botai blood culture bottle consists of cap, bottle,
gas, culture media and sensor. The bottle is made of
plastic, not the breakable glass. The plastic bottles have
below advantages:
Safe: the strong bottle is hard to break, so the plastic
bottle minimizes laboratory personnel exposure to
infectious agents
Convenient to ship and store: it is light and strong,
special precaution is not needed
Save shipping cost: the plastic bottle is much lighter
than the glass bottle
