With the basic ideology of affection, service and sharing, MIGA was established in 1997 and has put effort in improving the customer's health.
Since obesity is a risk factor for multiple diseases, interest in treatment of obesity is increasing. Amongst obese patients, it has been revealed that the abdominal obese patients especially tend to be at a high risk for obesity related diseases.

There were many changes in obesity treatment. 30 years ago, the doctors thought diet was the best solution and believed exercise had the least effect for treating obesity, normalizing metabolism and temporarily burning calories. Recently as the effect of exercise has been well known, not only it is effective for treating obesity but now also known as exercise is effective for reducing various diseases such as hyperlipidemia and osteoporosis.

Until now, effort was put in treating obesity by developing an instrument that uses EMS technology through muscle stimulation system that controls motor nerves, having similar effects to exercise. Through continuous research by extended licensed technology, MIGA has invented abdominal obesity treating equipment and had approved by the KFDA as a new technology medical instrument. It has also been approved as the only obesity treating equipment in the country and has shown that it is effective in reducing waist size of abdominal obese patients through clinical testing.
