Non-woven sponges are a blend of synthetic fibers, such as rayon and polyester. Comparing to traditional woven gauze, non-woven sponges produce less lint and higher absorbency. They also improve patient comfort due to better air permeability and greater softness. Non-woven sponges are ideal for wound dressing and packing, and offer improved would care management.
Both sterile and non-sterile packing are available. Sterile packing non-woven sponges are packaged in peel down or tear open heat seal pouches. Offered in single and double format in practical.
