Made from poly vinyl chloride (PVC), a main ingredient in disposable gloves for over 40 years, vinyl exam gloves offer a practical barrier of protection for a wide range of applications. The key, however, is to use them for the right task. While they are soft to the touch and very comfortable to wear, they can tear after extended rigorous use. You shouldn't use them for high-risk situations. On the other hand, vinyl gloves are highly resistant to acids, fats and alcohols and they have superior anti-static properties.
