The standard hydrogel catheter is called Nelaton and has a rounded tip. It is available for men, women and children.
Men: The male version comes in a length of 40 cm.
Women: For women is called Female and comes in 20 cm and 32cm
Children: For children is called Paediatric and also comes in 20cm.
Tiemann
For men with a narrow urethral passage there is also a catheter with a tip that is slightly curved and tapered, called Tiemann. It comes in a length of 40 cm.
Sizes
The catheters are in sizes from CH6 to CH24.
CH is a measure of the catheters diameter. The difference between each measure is 1/3 mm. The colour of the connector shows which diameter the catheter has.
