Description
This product is mixed with CMC, latex and mineral oil by advanced technology. It can absorb excessive wound exudates, maintain moist healing environment and hasten epithelization. This product does not stick to wounds, can relieve pain and causes no second damage. It is waterproof and air permeable, which can prevent second contamination.
Components
Hydrocolloid (mixed with CMC, latex and mineral oil) and polyurethane film.
Indications
For lightly to moderately exuding wounds
1. Venous leg ulcer
2. Stage I II pressure ulcer
3. Surgical incision
4. I superficial II degree burns
5. Donor Site
6. Trauma wound
Applications
1. Clean the wound with sterilized saline water and dry the surrounding skin gently.
2. Chose the right size of dressing according to the wound area. The dressing should be larger than the wound surface(1 2 cm over the wound edge).
3. Apply the hydrocolloid pad toward the wound bed and then remove the covering membrane gently, until the dressing fixed completely onto the wound bed.
4. The hydrocolloid dressing appears to be white colloid after absorbing exudates. The appearance of dressing will turn into marble like pattern or transparent after the dressing is saturated by exudate.
Please change the dressing in the case of leakage.
5. hydrocolloid wound dressing can prevent odor from wound. However, the odor may come out when changing dressing. The odor will disappear after cleaning the wound,.
6. The product can be retained on site up to 7 days. The average changing period is 1 to 3 days. The frequency of changing dressing depends on the amount of exudate.
Contraindications
1. Use this product under doctor's instruction for infected wound which is currently under control.
2. Use this product by consulting a doctor when the wound is caused by blood supply deficiency or diabetic foot ulcer. In this case, check the wound status daily.
3. Please consult the doctors in time if patients are hypersensitive to the products.
4. Please remove the product before applying radiation treatment including X ray, ultrasonic therapy, thermotherapy and microwave therapy.
5. Do not use this product together with saline water and dioxogen
6. This is disposable product and can not be reused. Do not use it when the packing is torn.
Storage
This product should be placed horizontally and stored under room temperature.
