Characteristics:
Work surface
The large work surface allows draining of the excess paraffin into two large collecting traus and allows processing many samples at the same time.
The ptemperature can be set from ambient to+99centigrade and can be adjusted through the control panel.
Cold spot
The large cold spot Peltier is designed to orient evem small and big samples(Mega Cassettes).
The temperature range is from room temp. To -5centigrade
Cryo Console
Cryo Console is composed of a compressor cooled work surface held to chillthe paraffin bolks rapidly. The Teflon coated surface allows a minimum ice formation and easy cleaning. Temperature is adjustable from ambient to-13centigrade. Cryo Console can be used as a stand alone unit near the microtome station.
Thermal Console
The Thermal Console holds processed tissue specimens, in any type of cassettes, awaiting paraffin embedment. Stores and warm samples in a large paraffin tank "2.5 L. "Temperature can be set from ambient to 70centigrade. Thermal Consde can be used alone ad Water Bathnear Microtome.
Histo-Trim
The 2900 Histo Trim is a practical debice designed to remobe excess paraffin from the embedding cassetted after inclusion of specimens. Scraping the embedding block on the "groobed plane"heated durface, excess paraffin will be removed leabing the cassette clean readu to be set properly on the clamp of the microtome. Temperature can be set from ambient to 70centigrade.
