PVA Eye Spears are constructed of soft, absorbent and highly retentive poly vinyl alcohol foam. The porosity is controlled for a variety of applications including LASIK and cataract surgery. PVA eye spears are gentle on eye and cornea is designed to quickly clean surface of the eye and absorb and diffuse fluids during ophthalmic procedures.
Eye spears are used in ophthalmic or microscopic procedures for absorbing excess fluids from the operative side:
