- Product Detials:SUN-8800 Arteriosclerosis Measuring Instrument is a full automaticity multifunctional noninvasive health inspection system. It measures the variation of pulse wave velocity (PWV), second derivative of photoplethysmogram (SDPTG) and heart rate variability (HRV), to evaluate the conditions of artery elasticity, blood circulation, autonomic nerves activity and give prognoses on cardiovascular health status. PWV refers to the velocity of arterial pulse transmitted from one position to another position which is an important parameter of arteriosclerosis and cardiovascular events. SDPTG refers to the waveform acquired after differentiating the original plethysmographic pulse for two times, which can be used to analyze blood vessel patterns. HRV refers to the beat-to-beat alterations in heart rate, controlled and balanced between sympathetic and parasympathetic components of the Autonomic Nervous System, which is one of the most promising and popular markers of cardiac autonomic activity.
