- Product Detials:Characteristics Tracheal Stent features unique memory capability and super elasticity besides its excellent biological compatibility and corrosion resistance. It turns into a softened status in an ice water bath at 0-10centigrade and can therefore change its shape to a certain degree. The stent is then placed in an introducer with a diameter less than Diameter6mm and pushed out above 33centigrade. Both ends of the stent are constructd with small arcs which would do no harm to the wall of the trachea. It is easy to be operated and its effects are definte. Application Caution: Applicable for tracheal stenosis caused by malignant change. Note: Tracheal stenosis induced by late lung cancer, lumen stenosis under outside pressure caused by mediastinum and esophageal tumors, unfit for operation due to aging and poor health condition of the patient.
