- Product Detials:Methadone, a synthetic opioid, is a commonly used substitute for heroin or other abused opiates in drug maintenance treatment clinics. It is administered orally or intravenously and is metabolized in the liver. Excretion occurs through the kidneys in concentrations of 5mg/ml or greater. Twenty-four hours after a dose of administration, urine levels of methadone maintenance patients typically range from 1 to 5ug/ml.
One Step Methadone Urine Test is a rapid urine screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes a monoclonal antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of Methadone in urine. Test yields a positive result when Methadone levels in urine reaches 300ng/ml.
