- Product Detials:EEFL(External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp) is a new type of light source, which can be configured in a parallel design. It is therefore to build a back light unit. TGD 07 series is our latest new product developed for viewing medical films by adopting back light unit used for flat LCD TV as a light source, for the first time in China. Principle and Advantages of EEFL EEFL has its electrode outside of the lamp. It's quite opposite from that of general fluorescent lamp. The light source of this lamp is Plasma which is derived by external electrode of electric field inside the lamp. Because of this technology, this lamp does not generate heat itself and enhances the lifetime and the illumination stability incredibly and improve brightness efficiency. EEFL lamps have a life expectance of over 60000 hours as compared to 20000-50000 hours for CCFL lamps Performance Features 1. Slim lamps used for high tech display and plastic, aluminum moulded parts used for the main body enable TGD07 series to be slimmest and lightest film viewer providing with excellent design and technique 2. High brightness and uniform light distribution owing to the special back light unit. The maximum brightness is more than 3000CD/m2 and the luminance uniformity is over 90%. It allows the users to be able to obtain more accurate and useful clinical information 3. TGD07 series provides convenience by adopting continuous brightness control function for optimum reading capability even under conditions of various film densities and lightings of reading room as well as ON/OFF switch for each viewing area 4. The most attract feature of EEFL is the absence of electrodes inside the discharge glass tube. Since no cause of fault duo to electrode burn-out, EEFL have longer lifetime. In addition, EEFL lamps with high color temperature are suitable for observing medical films. 5.
